Flag of Greece.
The Flag of Greece is referred to as 'Κυανόλευκη' meaning "blue-white". It has total of 9 equal stripes of blue and white, also a cross in the upper left corner. The blue in the flags symbolizes sky, seas, and limitless opportunities. The white symbolizes the clouds and waves. The cross in the upper corner symbolizes Greek Orthodox Church, an established Greek religion. Lastly 9 stripes represent the nine-syllable in the battle cry of Greek independence, Ελευθερία ή Θάνατος" ("Freedom or Death").
